Ratninda Waterfall (Rathkinda Ella) is in the Ratninda Grama Niladhari Division of the Knuckles Forest Reserve. The entrance to this waterfall is not marked, so you should check with the people in the area. However, when you reach the Ratninda main road, you can clearly see the upper part of the waterfall above the forest canopy.

The waterfall, which is about 6 meters high, is fed by the Ratninda Canal, which starts from Kirimetiya Mountain and flows into the Telgamuwa Oya. The waterfall consists of 6 to 7 main layers and falls in various shapes. The waterfall falls beautifully with the monsoon rains, and during the dry season, a limited amount of water can still be seen. When walking on the small footpaths leading to the waterfall, you can see various species of plants and animals. It is a perfect place for nature lovers, explorers, photographers and mountaineers. The lush greenery of the surroundings and the sound of the waterfalls create a sense of delight for everyone who visits. This land, rich in biodiversity and rich in topography, is like a paradise on earth.
