Karagahathenna, also known as Karagasthenna, is a place in Sri Lanka that is known for a few things.

  • Mini World’s End: Karagahathenna has a beautiful “Mini World’s End” view point, similar to the more famous World’s End in Horton Plains National Park. From here, you can see panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, including the Moragahakanda Reservoir and other distant landmarks.

  • Communication Towers: Karagahathenna and the nearby Gammaduwa Mountains are home to several communication towers.
  • Abandoned Village: There is an abandoned village in Karagahathenna, which can be an interesting place to explore and learn about the area’s history.

Karagahathenna is becoming an increasingly popular destination for camping and hiking. If you are planning to visit, it is recommended to travel in a vehicle suitable for off-road conditions, as the roads can be rough.
