B.C.E. The Garadigala inscription, believed to have been written during the reign of King Sena II, who ruled the kingdom in the 4th century, is located at this Adangala archaeological site. Legend has it that King Valagamba was hiding in this place for some time. There is a cave of Kataram Ketu and there are about seven smooth stone beds in this rock cave. The ruins of an ancient rock are found in this ground. It is believed that there is a balance mountain range starting from this place and running up to Anuradhapura. This place, which has now attracted local tourists, should be popularized among foreign tourists. It is important not only as an archaeological site but also as a nearby sightseeing site. Matale is an attractive tourist destination that can be reached in about 15 minutes from Galewela town.It is possible to reach from Garadigala Temple
